I hope this isn’t turning into a Modern Family blog, but here’s a fun fact for you all: Julie Bowen (Clare) was 9 months pregnant when they filmed the pilot episode. They use cleverly placed pillows and benches to hide her large bump.  Re-watch it. It becomes the most obvious thing in the world.
